Hello,
I bought a refurbished HP Zbook 17 G2 last week
Now i want to update the bios.
But now there is a password lock.
I have noticed that the bios can unlocked with a SMC.Bin file.
HP don't suport that anymore.
I hope you can help me with finding the correct SMC.bin file so that i can unlock my bios.
Thanx in advance

So, what did you do to resolve it?
I have the same problem. I can boot into windows 10 and use the device without a problem, but cannot modify the BIOS without the password.
Looks like the only solution I see is to replace the EPROM or get ahold of an SMC.BIN file (which HP no longer provides)?
I've also tried upgrading the bios, but that will not work on this device either.
