HP Zbook 15 G3 Trackpad Not Working Dead

Powered up the laptop and smoke started pouring out. I was able to quickly remove the bottom cover and extinguish the battery fire. Pretty amazing how once it starts burning you cannot stop it. The cabling between the Smart Card Reader, Trackpad and motherboard were burned up. I replaced the trackpad cable and it no longer works.
I am sure I could sort it out if I had the trackpad pinout and the related motherboard schematic/ board view.
I kind of like the laptop and any help is appreciated.
