Asus Maximus VI Gene - error code 00.

Tray with another cpu,ram,psu with 8 pin,stock cooler.

Socket is ok,no bent pins.

Any ideea?

code 00 is a common mistake, but can be really anything ... cpu, socket pins, power supply, bios, ect ...

you changed cpu, examined pins, replaced power supply ... now let's test what we do best ... the bios!!!

Bios chip is socketed, which is definitely a very good news

... make a backup, very important !!! ... data you need later is stored in eepom !!! (UUID, SN & MAC)


... test whether the chip is defective...

I have uploaded 2 clean versions without UUID and SN here, test whether the board runs with it ... you can make adjustments later, the chip is socketed, so there is nothing simpler
