I have dell 3543 .. it stopped working .. i opened my laptop and checked.. one of the IC is heating up ...IC number is 51225
please help me ....

Dell 3543 DEad Board... need help!!!
It's a 3,3v & 5v Dual Synchronous Step-Down Controller. Mostly, it gets heated up when it is damaged. Your problem will be solved by replacing it. Many times it remains heating up even after it's replacement because there is any shortage in the power section of the motherboard. Sometimes, there is also the shortage in I/O chip due to which this Ic get heated.
